Cape Town


Cape Town is the second largest tourist attraction in South Africa (the first being Kruger Park).  As far as terrain and views, Cape Town has it all.   There are several mountains very close to the ocean.  The land has mountains, rolling hills, and flat lands.

A spectacular view can be had from the top of table mountain.

The wharf area is a very popular area.  The picture below shows a view of the area from Table Mountain. The area looks better when you are in it.

Cape Town does get miserable weather sometimes.  In fact, while the summer (December-March) usually has great weather, the rest of the year is subject to cold, wind, and rain (like the picture below).

and can get very windy.
