Madikwe Game Reserve (part 3)
Some sights on a night drive include the back backed jackal, a bush baby (very small monkey), and a lion.

Termite mounds can be very large at Madikwe. This one is engulfing a tree. Although it is actually more likely that the tree is there because a termite brought its seed into the mound many years ago.

A fish eagle prepares to take off from a tree

and does so as we get closer.

A male weaver builds a nest for one of his harem in the middle of our camp.

African sunsets can be unbelievably beautiful. Did I say that already!
