Madikwe Game Reserve (part 3)


Some sights on a night drive include the back backed jackal, a bush baby (very small monkey), and a lion.

Termite mounds can be very large at Madikwe.  This one is engulfing a tree.  Although it is actually more likely that the tree is there because a termite brought its seed into the mound many years ago.
