Rietvlei Dam

This is a nature preserve and dam that is located only 15 minutes from downtown Pretoria.

Many of the parks have "hides" that allow you to hide from the animals. Most have thatched roofs which is also very common on people's homes here.

Impala, Kudu (the one with the big bullseye on its rear, and Ostrich are plentiful.

My favorite and one that you never get tired seeing.  We were about 40 meters away when we captured these shots.
