A great spot for a hike if you've got the time.  Go up the trail on left side of the stream.  When the trail goes up .. go with it.  You eventually make it to Thunder River and spectacular water falls..

Tapeats campsite is a rather difficult place to stop and dock the rafts.  The river is moving rapidly at this spot.

The hike along Tapeats Creek is very nice.

Tapeats Creek has several small water falls.  I am in the picture on the right.

Tapeats Creek has carved a steep canyon over the years.
